Let me say something that might be hard to admit out loud:
You can believe in Jesus and still have no idea who you are.
I know this because I’ve lived it.
I walked into marriage thinking I knew what love, identity, and faith were—but the truth is, I was just performing. I had no real sense of myself. No rooted identity in Christ. Just expectations, survival skills, and roles I tried to live up to.
And when the marriage ended?
I was back to square one.
Not just divorced.
But disoriented.
Empty.
Wondering, “Who am I without them? Without that role? Without that life?”
Maybe that’s where you are too.
Here’s the truth no one told us in Sunday school:
You can go to church, serve faithfully, even lead others—and still build your identity around people, positions, or performance instead of your true identity in Christ.
But when life breaks you wide open—divorce, grief, empty nest, betrayal—you finally see the cracks in the foundation.
And friend, that’s not your end.
It’s your invitation.
3 Steps Toward Rediscovering Who You Really Are:
If you’re standing in the wreckage wondering who you are—you’re not alone.
And you don’t have to rebuild blindly. I created a free guide, 9 Tips for Loving Yourself and Others, to help you begin reconnecting with your heart and your healing from the inside out.

This month, give yourself permission to ask the question most of us have been afraid to ask:
“Who am I… really?”
And then allow God to gently, lovingly show you.
You may not know where to start—but you’re not starting from scratch.
You’re starting from sacred ground.
